Ghost in the Machine

The spirits have attacked! Even machines themselves cannot escape the paranormal influence of spirits beyond the grave.

The pulsing electronic sparking of power and energy surrounds the viewer in this latest image while the face of an evil spirit looks on in anticipation of its next conquest. This particular spirit loves to dine on power cores to satiate its thirst. But is there enough energy to be found to put this ghost to rest?

The Design

This image was created entirely in Clip Studio Paint and took about five days to finish. It is a multi image piece using one of my favorite features…a glow layer. A dark red background was the main canvas with a mixture of paint and line effects carefully blended to show a chaotic, burning scene with a paranormal touch to it.

The Idea

I love mixing technology with the paranormal. I thought about what it would look like if a spirit tried to consume a power generator and this is the design that came to mind. A smoky atmosphere lit up by the discharge of energy and the sparks of over charged circuits.
